Have a Firearm and Need to Ship it?
We at Best Deal Gun and Pawn are happy to help you with shipping your firearm. However, many people are surprised to learn that the law does not require them to take their firearm to a local Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) to ship their firearm out of state.
The law, in fact, allows for anyone to ship a firearm to an FFL. This means that you can ship your firearm directly to an FFL in another state. You can follow the link below to the question and answer section of the ATF website for more information on this.

If you would prefer to handle the shipment of your firearm yourself there are only two things you really need to do. First, confirm that you are, in fact, shipping to a FFL. Second, you must include a legible copy of your state issued valid ID with the firearm when you ship it. This is so that the receiving FFL can document where the firearm came from in their bound book as required by federal law.
To confirm that you are shipping to an FFL simply ask for the first (3) three numbers of their FFL and the last (5) five numbers of their FFL. Once you have this information you can use the FFL EZCHECK system to verify the license. You should ship your firearm ONLY to the address that comes back on the FFL ezcheck verification.
